Bartington Defence & Space complies with UK Government regulations regarding the export of equipment. Certain products that we manufacture require an export licence, depending on:
the type of product (military/dual-use)
the country where the product is being exported to
the end user/application.
Military use goods to any destination require an export licence issued by the UK Export Control Organisation. Bartington products classified as military use and requiring an export licence are as follows:
In addition, end-use controls are also in place for certain applications and countries. These vary from time to time.
In all cases, an end-user declaration will need to be completed and returned to us. The template for the form is available here: End-User Undertaking.
Export Licencing for repairs
Dual-use items: dual-use items exported to most countries can be returned after repair or replacement using the Open General Export Licence (Export After Repair/replacement under warranty: Dual-Use Items) to certain destinations. See here for details of countries that are excepted.
Military use items: military use items exported to most countries may be returned after repair or replacement using the Open General Export Licence (Export After Repair/replacement under warranty: Military Goods) to certain destinations providing an export licence has been granted during the previous five years.
